Aaron Schuppan

Aaron is an AFTRS-graduate director and a self-taught cinematographer. All he ever wanted to do since he was the 8 year old son of a rural minister was make movies.

He’s done many other things. From running less-than-legal punk venues to managing an arthouse cinema to officiating weddings, but all things have been in service of pursuing cinema.

He has directed several self-financed shorts, countless music videos both local and international and has served as director of photography on many award winning shorts and genre features. He is passionate about independent cinema and has found a niche in elevating the visual flair of micro-budget productions.

He a long-time collaborator of WeMat Studios and is currently in post-production on his first feature as writer/director - the sci-fi/horror THE RECLAIMED.
